Inspiring hell and back life story
Amazing story of triumph over the darkness. Made me tear up in a few places because I’ve lived this with my daughter for 25 years until she finally came out of it. Thank you for sharing your story. It’ll help so many with the spiritual battle we are in.

Inspiring story that offers understanding and hope
I loved this book and feel like it is so well written. As soon as I finished it, I wanted to read it again. I feel like addiction is something that affects so many of us; whether you are the addict or have someone close to you that is an addict this story brings understanding and hope. If you have been lucky enough to never have addiction affect your life, Rods message of healing and his personal relationship with Jesus Christ is truly inspiring. Definitely worth your time to read this book!
Encouraged
Being the mother of an addict I found this book to be encouraging. I too believe that your walk with God a personal commitment to Him is the only way to beat an addiction. I also struggle with forgiveness. But I’m learning to let my God work in my heart. This was a book I needed to read in a desperate time in my life dealing with my daughter. Thank you for writing what I’m sure was a humbling and raw book.
Loved it!
What an amazing story! This book can truly change lives and inspire those that may feel they are far gone. It’s never too late for a second chance, again.
Never give up
Great, quick read. You don’t know what you don’t know. Love the message 1) dont judge my book of life by the chapter you walked in on, 2) it can and does happen to anyone despite economic and social status and 3) there is always hope, never give up.
